It's time to harvest the seeds from your garden to share them with the Essca community.

The Media Library, in cooperation with Pascale Beldent, Sustainability/CSR Project Manager, and Julien Chaudet, Landscape Architect, is launching the Essca Seed Library.

How to proceed?

  • Pick up empty sachets at the Media Library.

  • Choose one or more of the healthiest and most beautiful plants.

  • Wait as long as possible for the seeds to mature.

  • On a dry day, extract the seeds and let them dry.

  • Place the seeds in sachets and label them with the variety, location, and date of harvest.

  • Return the filled sachets to the Media Library.

  • In spring, choose the seeds you want to plant in your garden and/or vegetable patch.

Examples of easy seeds to harvest: tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, beans, peas, broad beans. For flowers, most annuals.
